Fall Semester Session 1 (August-October) If you’re a Teen who is a fan of action, fantasy, art, or anything in that vein, then come join in on the Dungeons & Dragons Game & Art class! This class is a fusion of traditional art projects and social team-building games; we will be learning how to draw and sketch quickly as we act out characters in a narrative, while also creating maps, portraits, and inventory sheets to fully design and flesh out a character of our own. This class will help you learn how to build worlds, create characters, and work with others on a personal and group basis. The class is separated as follows: 1/2 gameplay and sketching, 1/2 art projects. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Summer Pirkle
Instructor
Summer graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting, and grew up observing her mother paint murals and faces, working in a wide range of art that eventually influenced her to explore many different styles herself. As an instructor and an artist, Summer specializes in acrylic painting of animals and nature, anime-styled cartoon illustration, and digital art. As a teacher, Summer strives to help students discover their own artistic interests and find their drive to create art. Her goal is to replace negative views of one’s own work or skills with positive thinking and the desire to experiment and grow as an artist.
