Here at The Giggling Pig we aim to foster each child's unique style, so this week we will be focusing on YOU with self portraits. Students will broaden their concepts of value and light with graphite, focusing on various blending and drawing techniques to achieve different results with the same pencil. This monotone project will challenge students to look beyond color to capture their likeness with every stroke.

This week we will explore sculpture for this mythical clay relief Medusa Head. Students will be guided through various application techniques to enhance their tactile skills and fine motor abilities by molding and shaping clay. The objective is to develop spatial awareness and learn about proportion as they create their clay models. Additionally, this project will boost creativity as students personalize their faces and snakes with a pop of color! Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old. 90-min class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our intermediate classes throughout the school-year! Join us on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday each week... or whenever it's convenient for you! We do the same project each of those days for each week, and then something new for the next week!

Join us weekly on Sunday's for an hour and a half of creativity! Our teacher will guide you through a step by step on canvas, but if you want to add your own ideas and personality to your painting - we encourage it.

This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 9-16. Dress for a mess! We often work with acrylic paints and oil pastels, which can be very difficult to remove from clothing.

Meant to be interpreted both literally and figuratively, they will craft an image of their own imagination informed by their artists of choice visuals, lyrics and/or likeness. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go.
