A great place for kids AND adults to hang out! There are several rooms for kids to play in: Gym with a basketball hoop, ride on cars, and various balls to play with; Reading room with lots of books for all ages, quiet play toys, stepping stones, and Duplos; and a Game room with board games, building toys, and a wall with all kinds of magnets. Please keep the toys in the rooms where you find them and please clean up before you leave. Students will step into the role of young detectives, using Spanish to follow clues, describe people and places, and solve a mystery—all while gaining a glimpse into the vibrant culture and life of Mexico. Open to K–5 students of all proficiency levels, the Spanish Club makes learning come alive through fun games, interactive projects, and creative storytelling. As our detectives piece together the clues, they’ll naturally build vocabulary for colors, clothing, physical features, and more. At the end of the session, students will showcase what they’ve learned in a fun presentation revealing their final discovery! In AI Pioneers, our emerging engineers will learn how to create projects for social good with Python programming language. Through hands-on coding, students will learn how computers can use data to solve complex problems like natural language processing and computer vision. Led by Stanford, MIT, and Ivy League alumni and grad students, students will explore the ways they can meaningfully use AI to predict heart disease, create social robots, assist with disaster relief, and navigate autonomous vehicles.
