Puppet shows are back! Join us once a month on this Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals Sneaky Pete, Tom the Rat, Meowzers, plus some new special guests! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.

Every year we love to read the books our campers create - Remember this camp sells out fast so don't delay. We print 1 copy for your child to enjoy and share with you and additional copies are available for $20 each. The topic is completely up to your child and we assist with writing, spelling and any help they may need. We appreciate your patience with this camp as editing, and formatting does take some time. These children are in the prime of PLAY! They are imagining, creating, and becoming independent learners. They are taking on new challenges, separating from their familiar adult and building the social skills needed for their preschool journey and beyond. What to expect in class: Engaging themes like outer space, animals, and bugs continue to foster imagination and allow adults and children to play together, building confidence and trust. Parent/child play time is followed by a gentle separation time where children are engaged by expert teachers in social activities and brain games like puzzles, playdough, and storytime. Class ends with celebration and the return of the adults, reminding children that adults always come back! Benefits: Physical: Children get ample time on our equipment, building gross motor skills, coordination, and balance. During separation time we will focus on fine motor skills, pre-writing skills, and dexterity (like threading a bead on a string). Cognitive: Problem-solving, reasoning, and play all support your child’s brain development during this class. Social: Practice social skills necessary for school readiness in a safe and playful way! Collaboration, turn-taking, and sharing are all practiced during our class with and without our adult guides. We empower youth and youth with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities as well as Autism. Our Respite Services gives caregivers the opportunity for well-deserved rest and self-care on Thursdays through Saturdays.

Budding artists capturing multiple objects tend to begin with the largest or most attractive one first, finish it, and move on to the next. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. Procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student, but we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best.

Musicians in the Making teaches foundational music concepts through fun cooperative games designed to reach aural, visual, and kinesthetic learners alike. Pitch, reading, rhythm, and dictation are just some of the skills students will learn, giving them a huge leg up on their musical journey. Taught by Jeff Award winner Ariana Miles, our resident music director/”friend behind the piano”, Musicians in the Making is a great introduction to music for children on the fence about taking lessons as well as a valuable learning supplement for those already in them. This program is designed to provide enjoyable activities that help students ease into their day and prepare for school. At the end of Before Care, younger children will be escorted directly to their classrooms, while older children will walk to their classes independently. Please note, we do not provide breakfast. Join us this Spring for an exciting Spanish adventure! This season, Brilliant Bilingual presents our new theme, “Detectives en Acción” (Detectives in Action). Students will step into the role of young detectives, using Spanish to follow clues, describe people and places, and solve a mystery—all while gaining a glimpse into the vibrant culture and life of Mexico. Open to K–5 students of all proficiency levels, the Spanish Club makes learning come alive through fun games, interactive projects, and creative storytelling. As our detectives piece together the clues, they’ll naturally build vocabulary for colors, clothing, physical features, and more. At the end of the session, students will showcase what they’ve learned in a fun presentation revealing their final discovery! Behavior Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual's Spanish Club has basic rules of behavior, including respecting others and materials. These rules are reviewed regularly with students. Disrespectful behavior, foul, hurtful language, violence or other disruptions will not be tolerated. Brilliant Bilingual reserves the right to remove students from the club without refunding payment in the event of repeated misbehavior. Tardy Policy ---- Spanish Club ends at 3:45pm. Parents who pick their students up directly after Spanish Club must be ready to pick them up at 3:45pm. Any parent or responsible caregiver who does not pick up their student by 3:55pm will be charged a late fee of $1/minute. Late fees will automatically be applied to the card placed on file at the time of registration. School Closure Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual clubs may close/cancel clubs due to certain circumstances (Extreme Weather Conditions, Natural Disasters, Infrastructure Problems). Parents/guardians will be informed via SMS or mobile notifications and email announcements. Make-up classes may or may not take place, depending on the nature of the closure and the school's assessment. All enrollment fees paid are non-refundable.
