This camp will combine the role playing adventure of 5 edition dungeons and dragons with specialized games and activities to create a fun and immersive role play experience. Players will create their own characters, costumes welcomed and encouraged, and take them on adventures in Playformance with our amazing dungeon master team. Games will revolve around quick, one shot adventures or experiences with different dungeon master's along with classic Playformance games featuring a fantasy twist. No experience in D&D is required as our DM team will guide you through the experience and give you the tools to become your character! Join us for a six-week Sewing Club designed especially for ages 11–15! Students will learn the basics of sewing in a fun, supportive environment—from safely using a sewing machine and threading a needle to measuring, pinning, cutting fabric, and creating simple seams. Each week, they’ll build their confidence through hands-on projects they can proudly take home. No sewing experience is needed—just an interest in learning, creating, and trying something new! All materials and sewing machines are provided.

Budding artists capturing multiple objects tend to begin with the largest or most attractive one first, finish it, and move on to the next. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. Procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student, but we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best.

Puppet shows are back! Join us twice a month on Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals small and large - Sneaky Pete, Mama Mavis, Chef Meowzers, Sadie Blue Boots, Grandfather Time, and an ever growing crew of puppet friends! We'll even get to introduce some of our original musicals (that debuted at Filoli this summer!) to the studio! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing.
