(If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

In our STEM LEGO® class we use LEGO® bricks to teach concepts of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through a play-based model of learning. Kids construct a unique model each week using project instructions and LEGO kits. All models are interactive and classes are thematically linked to deepen and support a child’s understanding and vocabulary for STEM concepts. Each session covers new topics/subjects. Topics and discussions are geared for our younger TK, Kinders, and 1st graders. Free-play time rounds outs the class giving our students an opportunity to develop their creativity.

Get ready for a monstrously fun time at Snapology’s Monster Mania! In this one-time workshop, kids will use LEGO® bricks to create their own monster fighters, build a creepy haunted town, and take on spooky building challenges. With snacks, prizes, mystery giveaways, and plenty of hands-on fun, it’s sure to be a spook-tacular adventure. Come join us in costume… if you dare!

Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding projects will also included.   Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel.  Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students.  

Get ready to add up the fun! In Math FUNdamentals, we believe that early math skills are best learned through kinesthetic, joyful play. Rooted in Gymboree’s signature "play-osophy," this 1-hour drop-off class introduces your preschooler to the wonderful world of shapes, patterns, adding, subtracting and more through hands-on activities designed to develop their growing minds, bodies, and social interactions.

Game design with SCRATCH is coming back again after popular demand with all new games! It’s fun to play video games, it's even more fun to design your own game! Students will not only learn the characteristics of a good game like speed, obstacles, scoring, visual appeal and sound effects, they will also learn the basics of coding like variables, if then statements, logic, loops etc. To add to this students will learn to create cool characters (sprites) for their game and build the backdrop for the games they create. (Please note: Children will be given a pen drive as a takeaway at the end of the course with all their projects)
