This Creative Movement Class is designed to introduce young dancers to the joy of movement through music, storytelling, games, and creative play. With jazz and ballet as the base, students will build coordination, balance, rhythm, listening skills, and body awareness while exploring movement in a fun and supportive environment. Creative Movement encourages imagination, confidence, and social interaction while laying the foundation for future dance training. Students will explore: Basic dance movement and coordination Rhythm and musicality Creative expression and imagination Balance, stretching, and motor skills Following directions and classroom skills Movement through stories, props, and games Required Materials: Ballet Shoes Comfortable dancewear (leotard, leggings, dance shorts, or fitted athletic wear) Hair secured away from the face Optional: small dance bag for shoes and belongings Water Bottle Recital Costume This registration fee DOES NOT include costumes. Parents can expect to purchase 1 costume for their child for the end of semester recital, selected by the instructor of the class. This costume purchase is required.

Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Hi-Five Golf Fore More Join Coach PJ this Fall Season for a fun and engaging golf clinic at the Willow Hill Driving Range designed for boys and girls entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Young golfers will learn the fundamentals of the game, including: Driving Chipping Putting Proper Grip Stance Swing Mechanics Coach PJ uses fun, age-appropriate instruction, games, and activities to help each child build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the game of golf. Attendance & Cancellation Policy Because Hi-Five is responsible for paying the driving range for each participant: Missed classes without at least 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a credit or refund. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before class will receive a class credit. Weather-related cancellations will only occur if the golf course closes due to weather. Important Notes... Hi-Five has golf clubs available for children to use during the clinic. However, if your child has their own clubs, we encourage them to bring them. *Mid-session registration: If you are signing up AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THIS SERIES OF 9 CLASSES, email info@marvegos.com about a possible project conflict before you arrive for class.* Our school year curriculum for age 12 and up emphasizes personal responsibility and self-directed art-making under the guidance of the instructor. Individual goals are established and records of progress kept. A sketchbook is required for this class. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Students new to ADEX are required to complete 3-4 prerequisite projects that introduce new mediums and the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. These projects also serve to familiarize students with the studio’s layout, proper setup and cleanup procedures, as well as essential steps in project planning. These prerequisites are completed at the students’ pace and typically take at least one session to complete.

This class is designed for motivated dancers who want to build strength, flexibility, and confidence while mastering exciting skills like aerials, walkovers, handsprings—and even working toward back tucks. Whether you're looking to sharpen your technique or stand out on stage or on your team, this class offers focused instruction in a fun, supportive environment. Classes are taught by a team of professional teaching artists with years of experience in the classroom and on professional stages and feature a customized curriculum designed to challenge and showcase the strengths of each young performer while helping prepare them to participate in our mainstage musical this Spring. Each week, your child will participate in acting games, choreography rehearsal, and vocal coachings as they learn scenes and songs from Broadway Musicals that they will perform onstage for family and friends at the end of the semester. Whether your child is destined for the lights of Broadway or simply loves to perform with their friends, this class will spark their creativity and give them the confidence to shine both onstage and off! *While participation in our Fall Semester is not required to enroll in our Spring Production classes, it is strongly encouraged. *Our Fall Finale will take place on a weeknight the week of December 14. Pre-crawling, Crawling, cruising, rolling, sitting, ready to explore anything and everything. We boogie down with our babies, get up and dance, give them baby massages, sing them songs, and explore new physical challenges every week through teacher-led activities on the equipment. Explore tummy time from a new perspective or on a new texture, slide down slides on soft blankets, or take a gentle ride. Play as a group and socialize with others! Sing song, learn a routine PLAY! And of course our parachute/bubble time. Benefits: Physical: Tummy time, Crawling, and physical activity stimulates Gross Motor Development, Problem Solving Skills, and Spatial Awareness. We move across the bridge sllowwwly and then fast! They'll learn how to control body movements and use their body to navigate and problem solve across monkey bars, giant cushions, and through little tunnels.
