Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. (normally The Inner Athlete and Dance, though subject to change). 4. Afternoon snack Our teachers will collect the children from their respective schools and accompany them back to the center. Once there, they will adhere to the tentative schedule outlined below: 1 - Playground 2 - Scheduled Activity 3 - Snack 4 - in November, we will introduce homework 5 - Free Play 6 - Dismissal Aftercare services will commence on the first day of school. Please specify WOWKids/World Of Wonder for pick-up when completing the school application. We will deliver a file to each school containing pictures of all authorized employees for pick-up. This process will occur on around September 1st and 2nd. We aim to maintain consistency during pick-up by assigning the same teachers to each school. Throughout September, there will be a rotation to ensure all staff become familiar with routines, and we can determine what works best for all involved. Additionally, we offer backup care for non-school days, available for an extra fee. Registration for backup care can be completed through care.com. Days will be posted once the schools issue the calendar. Changes for the Upcoming Year: 1. A $500 deposit per child is required. This deposit serves as your registration fee and will secure your child’s placement. Please note that the month of September will be billed at full tuition. Monthly tuition $1350.00 2. Join Stages for our 2027 Winter Musical: ROCK OF AGES Youth Edition *5th Grades will be permitted to enroll in our Winter Musical with program permission. *STUDENTS ARE PERMITTED TO ENROLL FOR BOTH THE FALL PLAY & WINTER MUSICAL. Tuition to participate in both shows is $1350. Discount will be applied at checkout. WHAT TO EXPECT: Stages’s unique approach to working with middle schoolers focuses as much on the process as it does the product. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and supportive environment in which young performers get to participate in an intensive rehearsal process focusing on character and scene study, choreography, basic musicianship skips, and vocal technique while putting together a fully staged production. Auditions at Stages are designed to be a low stress, fun experience. Middle School Musical students get the chance to do a comprehensive audition process complete with 32 bar cut vocal audition, dance call, cold reads, and callbacks. Casting will be done traditionally with 1-2 actors playing each role. EVERY CHILD WILL BE GIVEN A ROLE IN THE SHOW. We will work together with children to make sure they have a role. that they are excited to perform! --Weeks 3-11 (Sep 21 - Nov 21): Putting It Together-- During Weeks 3-9, the cast will participate in weekly rehearsals. During these classes, we will focus on character development, blocking the show, learning choreography and music. --Weeks 12-14 (Nov 30 - Dec 19): Prepping for Opening Night-- During Weeks 12-14, the cast will begin running doing “Run Thrus” where they perform the show from start to finish. We’ll also start adding in transitions so performers know when and how to enter/exit the stage, when to get microphones, make a costume change, or pick up a prop from the prop table. These classes are VERY important and we ask that you do your best to ensure your child is at every class unless they are ill. *There will be no class on November 25 and 28* WINTER BREAK: December 21 - January 2 -Additional rehearsals may be added the early in the week of December 21 but these will be optional to accommodate families who are traveling.
