We boogie down with our babies, get up and dance, give them baby massages, sing them songs, and explore new physical challenges every week through teacher-led activities on the equipment. 📣 LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 CHEER CHOREOGRAPHY CLINIC! 📣 Get ready for an exciting and productive day of cheer at the studio! Our Level 1 and Level 2 cheerleaders will have the opportunity to focus on their routines, build confidence, and take their skills to the next level during a special choreography clinic with our coaching staff! LEVEL 1 CHEER | 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM Level 1 cheerleaders will kick off the morning with a dedicated choreography clinic focused on perfecting and leaving with EXTREME confidence and precision in their skills cheer routine! This is an amazing opportunity for cheerleaders to really dive into their choreography, review counts and transitions, clean up motions, improve timing and synchronization, and build confidence in performing their routine from beginning to end. With extra individualized attention and specialized feedback from our coaching staff, athletes will have the chance to work through challenging sections, ask questions, make corrections, and strengthen the little details that make a BIG difference when performing as a team! Cheerleaders will also get to work alongside their Big Cheer Sis for extra encouragement, guidance, and support as they continue developing their routine! In addition to choreography, athletes will enjoy a snack break, Thanksgiving-themed squishy making, and lunch with their teammates. 💙 LEVEL 2 CHEER | 11:15 AM – 2:00 PM Level 2 cheerleaders will join us for their own dedicated choreography clinic (11:15 AM- 2:15 PM), giving them valuable time to focus on perfecting their routine, strengthening transitions, sharpening motions, and improving timing, technique, and overall performance quality. This focused practice allows athletes to receive personalized coaching, work through areas that need extra attention, and develop greater confidence, consistency, and teamwork. Every correction and repetition helps athletes feel more prepared and comfortable with their routine! Level 2 athletes will also enjoy time to connect with their teammates, take a break for lunch, and participate in our fun Thanksgiving-themed squishy-making activity! A SPECIAL TEAM LUNCH! One of the best parts of the day? Both Level 1 and Level 2 will get to eat lunch together! This will be a fun opportunity for our cheerleaders to connect across teams, build friendships, and spend time together outside of practice. **BOTH TEAMS will work on their tumbling skills, stunts, flexibility, and strength to improve technique, build power and stage presence, and perfect every aspect of their routine from start to finish! Individual goals are established and records of progress kept. A sketchbook is required for this class. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Students new to ADEX are required to complete 3-4 prerequisite projects that introduce new mediums and the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. These projects also serve to familiarize students with the studio’s layout, proper setup and cleanup procedures, as well as essential steps in project planning. These prerequisites are completed at the students’ pace and typically take at least one session to complete.

Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Who This Class Is For: Both new and continuing students. Teens ages 12-17 who are eager to create art more independently but want guidance, structure, and inspiration from a teacher. Students interested in experimenting with different art forms and techniques. Young artists who want to develop their skills and explore personal projects.

This 8 class session will begin with hand-building techniques to provide a better understanding of the ceramic medium before working on the pottery wheel. Artists will learn about the full ceramic process from creating their own ceramic pieces, the firing process, as well as glazing. Students will learn how to use ceramic tools and equipment from needle tools and ribs to slab rollers, extruders and electric wheels. Artists who have taken this course with us will be able to continue building on their skills and knowledge with different projects that we demonstrate, as well as learning how to develop their own ideas and projects with the teacher's guidance. The class is 2 hours once per week for 8 weeks. The registration fee includes clay, use of tools and supplies. Please note that we are unable to offer make-up classes, nor a pro-rate for future missed classes. Once the session is over you will receive an email notice that the ceramic pieces have completed their glaze firing and are ready for pick up. This typically takes a week or two after the session wraps up.

This class focuses on precision, energy, and style while helping athletes build confidence and stage presence.
