Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

Hi-Five After School Club Get ready for an action-packed afternoon with the Hi-Five After School Club! Once a week, kids will experience a mini-version of our legendary Hi-Five Sports Camp, which has been a favorite for over 30 years. Under the guidance of experienced and enthusiastic coaches, children will build skills, confidence, and friendships while learning the fundamentals of a variety of sports. In this workshop participants will use hand building techniques to create small figures in action! It might be a cartoon character, a friend or you! Family day workshops are designed for parents and children to work on projects together led by an instructor. One reservation ($50) for up to four participants, an $20/person for more than four (paid day of). No experience necessary. There is no age limit, but participants under 4 years old will require much more guidance from guardian. All kids must be accompanied by a guardian. Clay and underglaze are included. Projects will be clear glazed and ready for pick up two weeks after the class.

Our Tiny Ninjas program is designed for little warriors and their parents, guardians, or caregivers to bond while exploring the fundamentals of martial arts. This fun and engaging class focuses on building coordination, balance, and both fine and gross motor skills through playful activities. Under the guidance of expert instructors, your child will develop physical confidence and self-awareness in a safe, supportive environment. Tiny Ninjas is the perfect way to introduce your child to martial arts while sharing the experience together on the mat!

*Mid-session registration: If you are signing up AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THIS SERIES OF 9 CLASSES, email info@marvegos.com about a possible project conflict before you arrive for class.* Digital Art 2 builds on students’ foundational Procreate skills and introduces them to a series of new digital art techniques. Each technique is taught through a focused lesson, followed by a project that allows students to practice and apply what they learned. Over the session, students will explore different approaches to digital drawing and painting while strengthening their skills, growing more confident, and working with greater independence. Individual guidance and feedback help students refine their ideas and create original artwork. What to Bring to Class: iPad (9th generation or newer recommended for best performance) Apple Pencil Charger Because this program is offered on a limited basis, make-up classes are not available. They’ll also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” with art projects that introduce them to theatrical elements such as costume set design. Get ready to groove like your favorite K-Pop stars! In this high-energy class, kids will learn the coolest dance moves inspired by the world of Korean pop music. From dynamic choreography to expressive performance skills, they'll have a blast dancing to today’s top K-Pop hits, including songs from the hit movie, K-Pop Demon Hunters. Perfect for all levels, this class builds confidence, creativity, and coordination—all while having so much fun! This is a performance-based class where dancers work toward a final rockin’ showcase in costumes for family and friends to enjoy. Tuition includes a materials fee for the FD&D T-SHIRT to keep after the show! Dress comfy and wear tennis shoes. Bring a water bottle. GRADES: We will split the class in 2 groups by Grade- TK-1st and 2nd-5th. If enrollment is low, it will be combined into one class.
