Join the Riviera Hall Cheer Squad and get ready to jump, cheer, and show your school spirit! Students will learn fun cheers, spirited chants, and an exciting halftime dance routine using real pom-poms. This high-energy class builds confidence, teamwork, and leadership as students prepare to perform at school sporting events. New cheerleaders will receive their very own pom-poms to keep. Go Lions! POM-POMS: New Cheerleaders, please add the Pom-Poms ($20) to your registration. Returning cheerleaders may use the Pom-Poms from previous session. Dress comfy and wear tennis shoes. This 8 class session will begin with hand-building techniques to provide a better understanding of the ceramic medium before working on the pottery wheel. Artists will learn about the full ceramic process from creating their own ceramic pieces, the firing process, as well as glazing. Students will learn how to use ceramic tools and equipment from needle tools and ribs to slab rollers, extruders and electric wheels. Artists who have taken this course with us will be able to continue building on their skills and knowledge with different projects that we demonstrate, as well as learning how to develop their own ideas and projects with the teacher's guidance. The class is 2 hours once per week for 8 weeks. The registration fee includes clay, use of tools and supplies. Please note that we are unable to offer make-up classes, nor a pro-rate for future missed classes. Once the session is over you will receive an email notice that the ceramic pieces have completed their glaze firing and are ready for pick up. This typically takes a week or two after the session wraps up.

It’s all about opposites: loud and quiet, fast and slow, up and down! Contrasting ‘themes’ help your child learn better ways to communicate. We move across the bridge sllowwwly and then fast! They'll learn how to control body movements and use their body to navigate and problem solve across monkey bars, giant cushions, and through little tunnels. We’ll also practice repetition and routine with regular parachute and bubble activities. Soon your little one will be leading the Gymbo Dance!

The Adult Studio Art class at The Atelier School of Art is designed for artists of all skill levels, from beginners looking to explore creativity to experienced artists wanting to refine their techniques. This class covers drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media, with personalized guidance to help each student develop their artistic style. Students will learn composition, color theory, perspective, and various artistic techniques while working with different mediums such as acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, and pastels. Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Hi-Five Kids Fitness & Aerobics (Ages 3.5–6) Get your child moving, learning, and having fun with Hi-Five Kids Fitness & Aerobics at the Bernard Weinger JCC! This high-energy class is designed to help young children build a strong foundation of movement, coordination, balance, flexibility, and confidence through age-appropriate fitness activities, obstacle courses, aerobic games, music, and interactive challenges.
