Parent Night Out will take place on selected evenings of every month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm (or as noted) and will incorporate many types of fine arts over the course of the school year....visual arts. All while parents enjoy a night out! Cost per event is $42 per child, $40 for additional children FROM THE SAME FAMILY. Kids will enjoy 2 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Parent Night Out is designed for parents to drop off kids while they go out for a dinner, meet up with friends, run errands or enjoy some alone time :) Parent Night Out... aka PNO... is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. A teacher led art project, a fun themed craft, time for a snack (please bring your own snack & water) are included in our 2 hours together. Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 2 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups will be separated by age & grade level, so students can make new friends and work on age appropriate art projects. In Drawing/Painting Class we will create a variety of fine art projects focusing on technique and style, composition, brushwork, and systematic practice. KVArteest will give input on our subject matter, as we together decide what we want to learn.

Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding projects will also included.   Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel.  Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students.

We learn more than how to follow a recipe at Lil’ Chef School. We utilize math, science, teamwork, creativity, and more. Children learn about cuisines of the world and enhance their experience with fruits, vegetables, herbs & spices while gaining confidence and experience in the kitchen that will last them a lifetime. Children will make 2 recipes each week and will get a tasting of the food they made at the end of class. Recipes are provided online.

Campers embarked on a hands-on adventure, discovering the surprising magic that happens when numbers and creativity collide. They will experiment with color mixing like scientists (how much yellow really makes green?), measure ingredients to craft unique art supplies, and use the power of geometry to build stunning sculptures. Join us to reveal the hidden shapes, patterns, and proportions that form the building blocks of artistic expression!

What does science have to do with food? How does gooey batter turn into a light fluffy cake? Why does cilantro taste great to some and terrible to others? Through kitchen experiments and other hands on activities, students will dig in to what is inside food, and discover the science behind what's on our plates.

Using LEGO® building sets based off of the Minecraft theme, students will stage their own scenes from a storyboard and take photos of the scene to tell a story. Then they will edit the images in the Frames 6 animation software where they will add effects, sound and more. During our days together at Hilltop Creative Summer Camp we will start our mornings off with free exploration, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. We will have outdoor time on neighborhood hikes and also will visit our local playgrounds and recreational areas Bernal Heights, Holly Park and St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will gather indoors and will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative. Our ration is 1:6and we do not go over 12 campers. Slime and Sparkle Lab! Campers will mix, stretch, swirl, and create their own shimmering slime while experimenting with glitter, color, and texture. Campers should be able to follow safety instructions and participate in activities for approximately 30 minutes at a time. Campers must be fully potty-trained and able to use the bathroom independently. Please share any medical, behavioral, or developmental information (such as allergies, neurodiversity, or trauma) during registration so we can best support your child. All information is kept confidential. 💰 Refunds & Cancellations 100% refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of registration. All registrations include a non-refundable 20% deposit. Cancellations made 30 or more days before the camp date receive a refund minus the 20% deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of the camp date are not refundable unless we are able to fill your child's spot. If the spot is filled, you will receive camp credit, minus the 20% deposit. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
